in Your Kids/Grandkids!

Save The Date: Saturday, August 11, 2018,  come in to Fabrics That Go with your kids/grandkids (ages 10-14) to embrace their creativity, and learn from our expert instructors about basic sewing.

Fabrics That Go will supply all of the needed materials & tools, and your child/grandchild will go home with a special piece that they can proudly say- “I made this with my own hands!”

This event is 100% FREE and seeks to bring families together through creativity!

Our Sewing Superstars

Step 1:
Learn to Operate an Electric Sewing Machine

Kids (Ages 10-14) learn the basic safety, and proper operation of an electric sewing machine. These basic skills are the foundation to endless possibilities!

Just bring your smiles & creativity, we supply the tools & materials.

Step 2:
Make a Pillow

Once the kids get the basics mastered, we’re going to be working on a little pillow project. The kids will choose their fabric and be guided through the simple steps of this fun DIY pillow.

Step 3:
Make a Drawstring Bag

Once the kids get comfortable with the sewing machines, we’re also going to be working on a drawstring bag project. The kids will choose their pattern, be guided through the steps, and leave with cool items they can keep forever.
